Desexing

Sterilisation procedures are priced at a discounted rate to maintain the affordability of responsible pet ownership however this does not mean we compromise on care. The price includes pain relief during and after the procedure, as well as fluid therapy during procedure and antibiotics where appropriate. The only extra cost on the day will be for an Elizabethan collar, which must be worn after the procedure to stop your pet from licking and potentially damaging their sutures.

Please note: pricing for dogs is based on weight at time of admission. Additional surcharges apply for cryptorchid males (testicles not within the scrotum/sac), as well as females in heat, pregnant, older than >1 year and with obesity due to the increased complexity of the procedure. Female dogs over 5 years will need to have a vet consult prior to the procedure.

All desexing procedures come with unlimited FREE post operative checks with the nurse. Suture removal is also FREE. Please note suture removal is not required for male dogs or cats as all sutures will be internal.
